The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

36 weeks and 2 days

I can't believe the final countdown is on. It seems like we still have soooo much to do. i don't know how we will ever be ready for this little girl in the next few weeks. In 5 days i will officially be considered "term", which means i would be pretty happy to see her little face any time now. Still no sign that her arrival is anywhere close. Her super wake-up time is still between 1-2 a.m., so i'm hoping that she gets that kind of figured out quickly, as 1-2 a.m. is certainly not our usual super wake-up time.

i'm definately looking forward to 6 weeks at home with our little nova. Also, my sister Becky will be visiting for 2 weeks, which is going to be awesome and a huge help. Then in the end of may we will be in Indianapolis for a weekend trip (Cris is presenting at a conference) and we will get to see the Stickley/Matus Gang!

I can't wait for May to finally arrive!
