The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

Halloween 2008!

Halloween was a blast! The girls did great. They were in a great mood, and Juneau definately was catching on to the idea of getting something at every house. She didn't exactly graspe the concept of candy until later in the evening when she had her very first piece of chocolate - a KitKat. excellent choice, Juneau. Nova was really more of an accessory piece to the costume since she had no clue what was going on, but she had fun anyway.

So, without further ado, I introduce Thing 1 and Thing 2

Since we were a little on the White Trash side last year, this year we opted for a more wholesome theme. Here we are in our very aunthentic Amish Costumes purchased from an Amish garage sale near my parents home.
Betsy was Amish this year too. Her Ballet class at school all wore costumes. Isn't she cute?

Dear Cris and Emilie
i just finished reading your blog from start to end. What a wonderful (and sometimes terrifying) journey you have been through to get your two girls and your family to be united!! Thank you for sharing your story. Such adorable daughters!

You guys look great, wow, the Amish around here are old order and wouldn't be caught dead in such vibrant clothing! I'm not even sure the Mennonites around here would wear your "bright" yellow print:)

I LOVE thing one and thing two. We had some shirts the twins wore forever that were thing one and two. THe wigs, though, are the best, absolutely tops it off. Best Halloween costume I've seen posted.
