The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

"Juneau Self?"

This is the term we hear about a hundred times a day.
If we say to hop in her carseat juneau says "Juneau Self?" -meaning she wants to buckle herself
If we are helping her brush her teeth, eat breakfast, change her diaper, put on her clothes, or basically any little task it is always "Juneau Self?"

June-bug has discovered the joy of Lucky Charms. She first ate lucky charms when we were stuck in the hotel and had the continental breakfast every morning. She learned all about the marshmallows, and now every morning asks for "Rainbow?" which means Lucky Charms. She is super efficient at eating out each and every marshmallow while reciting it's color, but she is also good about eating the actual cereal part after all the marshmallows are gone. Then she says "Bite Milk?" and wants to eat the rest of the milk with her spoon. that part gets a little messy.

I love when Cris and Juneau are synchronized sleepers. This happens all the time. I will look at them and they are lying in the exact same position.

And one of Nova, just because she's a cutie pie (even when her newly emerging teeth drive her to acting like a little monster)

It's fun to have random free time. And also to not go to bed at 8:30 p.m. every night in order to get up so stinkin' early. As a result of this random free time, i write random blog posts :)

Wow, they are getting big so fast! Faith just discovered lucky charms this past week too and loves them. The synchronized sleeping is hilarious and cute. :)
