The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

are you ready for some pictures?!

The gang has been BUSY!!! they have been hitting all of the hot spots in colorado springs, from feeding the giraffes at the zoo to Pike's Peak to Culver's for ice cream, there hasn't been a dull moment in the Stickley house since grandpa, grandma, and mammaw set foot on Colorado soil. I've had a rather busy week at work (which is going well, by the way!), but i've come home to a camera full of fun pictures every day.

Juneau and Nova are pretty much the 2 happiest little girls in the whole world right now! It's going to take some time for them to realize that life goes back to normal when the grandparents go home.

anyway, i will get on with the pictures. lots of pictures tonight! Enjoy! The view from Pike's Peak. A whole different kind of beautiful than our Hawaii scenery.

A super adorable nova in Mammaw's handkerchief
We're gonna have to keep a close eye on Grandpa to be sure he doesn't smuggle Sherpa back on the plane to Ohio.
We don' typically encourage jumping in the swimming pool fully clothed, but sometimes it happens anyway.
ahhhh, another one of my wonderful garage sale finds. unfortuantely, both girls wailed the whole way down the waterslide, then refused to get near it again. i guess we will have to package this one back up until they are a little bigger next year.

Favorite past-time. Squeezing their 25 pound bottoms into the dolly stroller and pushing eachother around.

They are weird, but funny.
Nova wiped out after a busy day with the grands.
Juneau and Grandma made the cutest project together - little stepping stones! They poured the cement, painted, and decorated. i will post a picture of the finished product when they are all set up in the yard.
And finally, a little sneak peek...
Look what showed up in our driveway Friday afternoon! A giant truck with a supercool present from the Matus gang that Daddy and Grandpa have been working on for the last 2 days straight. Stay tuned for the finished (and even improved, better than the original) product!
