i was tempted not to post anything tonight, mainly because i don't have much to write about. Life is just chuggin' along. The weather has been getting much nicer. we have been in the 40's and 50's this week, which is sooooo nice.
I got out of work a little early last week, and we barely squeaked in a quick trip to the zoo. When we openened up the back of the van, and Juneau saw the wagon, she LITERALLY squealed with delight! It was sooooo cute. I guess that is the good thing about cold weather, it makes you really appreciate when the mercury hits 50 degrees!
anyway, we fed the giraffes, and took a quick spin through the monkey house, and enjoyed a bright, sunny, colorado day.

i had a loooong looong weekend at work. yuck. fortunatley, those are few and far between (as opposed to residency!) then, monday was a fabulous day off. If you are a facebooker you will know that Juneau's plan for our day was to "play all day with mommy, read books, play with blocks, tell stories, and sing". We were able to accomplish all of Juneau's goals for the day :) We even finally made it to the Library for the girls first "toddler time". the girls LOVED it. Juneau's oldest child, slightly bossy side is starting to show :) she wanted to stand right next to the teacher, and was the most enthusiastic singer and jumper and dancer in the group. Nova was her usual, more reserved self. she still enjoyed the songs, but did her little baby version of "itsy bitsy spider", and sang in her little baby voice.

guess that's about all the extent of the recent excitement in the Stickley household....
