Cris and I were both off work on Monsay, and the girls had no school, so we celebrated the day off by heading to Waikiki to swim in the pool at the Hale Koa. Apparently everyone else had the same idea, because there was actually a line to get into the pool, and we had to wait for a group of 7 to leave before our group of 7 could enter! But once we were there, we had a blast...

After spending the afternoon swimming, we headed over to the Hamilton's for dinner. I sometimes take for granted the fact that we are able to grill in February! Having the Ohio gang here is a good reminder, however, and it's fun to hear the updates on what the temperature is back home.
Tim grilled THE BEST steaks in the whole wide world, and dinner was amazing! It was fun to get to see Aunt Wally and Oma on face time (although the spotty internet connection made it a bit difficult),

And it was fun to meet the newest member of the Hamilton gang - Cassie, their new (and nearly toothless) cat!

Meanwhile, our Big Boy Jude has been learning a new skill - Eating from a spoon! He is also starting to sit up almost on his own!
Last night we ventured out for an evening of Glow Golf. We had a great time....at least for the first 12 holes or so. I'm not sure 4 year olds are cut out for a whole 18 holes....but it was still great fun. Especially watching the competition play out between 2 competitive Stickley men :)
Thursday is Gymnastics! Juneau moved up from the Gymmini class to the Level I class this week!
Nova is getting much more comfortable on the balance beam. She used to find ways to avoid even walking across it, but now she does her little maneuvers, and makes it all the way to the end.
