The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

a post without pictures...

i don't think i've made a post without pictures since nova was born last May! but, i am already in bed, and the camera is downstairs, and i just can't make myself go get it.

I think we will have some news to post possibly on Monday about our upcoming army assignment. Speaking of which, Graduation is now only 99 days away. Night Float is flying. My next rotation (and final one!) is the "OB Senior" which is basically the busiest, most horrible rotation of the entire four years. What can i say, i'm a procrastinator, and actually requested to do it last. i'm dreading it already. BUT on the bright side, it will be the last of the madness before "life after residency".

I'll finish this picture-less post with a funny Juneau story. A couple of weeks ago Nova was crying about something, and when we looked into the living room, J-bug was walking over towards her and blowing in her face (Aunt Coral's cure-all that we use to snap nova out of breathholding). It totally cracked us up! Now every time Nova gets upset, Juneau walks over and starts puffing away in her face. I love that little goofy girl!
