The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

I'm on a boat...I'm on a boat...Everybody look at me cuz I'm sailin' on a boat

In preparation for Grandpa and Grandma and Mammaw Stickley coming to Hawaii, we'd been planning on getting ourlicense so we could rent a pontoon boat from the marina and cruise around Kaneohe Bay...and today was the day.

We had made plans for our nanny to watch all 3 of the kids but she unexpectedly got sick yesterday so...
Jude was less than thrilled with the smallest life vest that was still way too big for him but he tolerated it will.

Juneau and Nova were super excited to get to go on the boat.

But, it didn't take long for the hum of the boat's motor and the rocking waves to lull the little ones to sleep...

Juede was the first one to sleep...but notice Nova in the background about to nod off...

But before long all three were out cold.

But, we got our license and are ready to head out on the Bay for some fun times the rest of the spring.

Having not posted all week, here is a look back at some of the highlights:

The girls got these awesome "twins" dolls from our dear friend Kenya and his wife Jackie.

In combination with the double strollers from Grandma Saccenti it creates quite the entourage when everyone goes out for a walk.

Because Jude loves to stand more than any other infant in history, he is thrilled with his new exersaucer.

This is what happens when you mistake a rubber Christmas stamp for lip gloss

And finally, a glimpse of the girls gymnastics class...
