Lately we have definitely let down one of our most loyal blog followers - Melody's gramma. So, I decided it was time to make a post that would cater to her...
Since Friday night's with Melody isn't quite enough for Juneau and Nova, we have added Monday night the last 2 weeks. I think that in part, it is a ploy for Tim not to have to walk home from work since the routine includes me dropping the girls off to play then driving down the hill to pick him up.
As usual, Aunt Beth had a fun cooking activity with simple bread flattening followed by spreading jelly or nutella and rolling into a fun snack.
As usual, things got WILD!!
A brief rest to play Toy Story dominoes
There was lots of tormenting of Uncle Tim
No adults allowed in the hideout...
And lots of payback tormenting from Uncle Tim
Ruuuunnnn!!
They all settled down enough at the end of the night to read a Dora book (Nova's idea of course)
A little over a year ago, while she was here visiting, Aunt Wally supplied me with a whole bunch of pineapple tops to get my pineapple garden started at our new house. They have flourished in these planters out front and now 3 of the 4 have nice pineapple's growing toward juicy deliciousness.
The fourth one there in the middle gets less sun since it is blocked by the palm tree a bit and definitely is a bit behind the other 3 but I'm confident it will get there. Finally, this evening Nova asked, as is normal these days: "Can we watch Sasuke?" (a.k.a. Ninja Warrior, a.k.a. Nova's new favorite show - in case you missed the previous posts). When there was another Sasuke marathon on last weekend, I recorded like 20 episodes so there will always be one ready.
Cuddling up with sissie for some serious Sasuke watching...
