This morning we said goodbye to our dear "Miss Laura". I cannot start to explain what a blessing it was to have Laura in our lives this year. She was aboslutely wonderful, and always had such a positive attitude and handled a difficult job with ease. I can't imagine making it through the year without her, and it was so very sad to see her start a long trip back to Ohio.

We spent the day today playing with Nova's birthday presents (the Uno Moo game was a big hit!!!). We also got Melody's present in the mail, and the girls have been busy decorating their Butterfly Mosaics! Super awesome!!!!
Tomorrow is a jam-packed day off!!!! The proposed plan starts bright and early with a hair cut for my mom, and a new (and kinda crazy!) new hair color for me :) Then it is over to the indoor pool/wave pool for some fun, then finishing the day off with our weekly 5K!!! somewhere i have to throw in a super-fast packing job!!!
While i was working this weekend, I had a shift with the midwife who is following me for my pregnancy. She was reviewing the ultrasound results from my recent ultrasound, and asked if i was positive about my due date. I am most definately positive about my due date, especially since i have a billion ultrasounds since 4.5 weeks, which were all in agreement with my original due date (in the Ob/GYN world, the earlier the ultrasound, the more accurate it is, since all 6 week old fetus' are pretty much exactly the same size, and as the pregnancy progresses, the babies grow at different rates, so the early ultrasounds are super accurate as far as establishing a due date. The later ultrasounds are helpful for establishing the baby's weight, but not so helpful for the due date). Anyway, long story short, apparently Jude is enormous. He is currently measuring >95th percentile!!! yikes!!! big babies run in my family, but as i have 2 rather shrimpy children, i am not quite sure what i would do with a giant baby. I'm hoping his growth will start to slow down...I have another ultrasound in a month, so i guess time will tell!
I cannot explain the anticipation building over the next few days, as we begin the celebration of the reunion of our family. It has been about 18 months since we all lived in the same household, and I am so grateful that the end is in sight.
