The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

They're Married!!!!!!

We are in Washington State this week celebrating the wedding of my little brother, Drew to the lovely and sweet Kristie.  It was AMAZING to watch my youngest brother (and the last of the 5 siblings to get married!) watch his beautiful bride walk down the aisle. We are so excited for their future, and so happy for Kristie to join our family!!!
She looks pretty happy too!!! :)
Off to Hawaii for their honeymoon!!!
We have had a GREAT week in Washington, with *almost* the whole family (Betsy's husband Brad was unable to make it) able to fly to the pacific northwest.  Betsy entertained all the tiny cousins all week with whatever she had on hand....in this case, a hair dryer!
Nova was SUPER excited to spend some time playing "mommy" with Tommy and Sonya's littlest, Baby James.  She said "he loves me so much, mom. I think he thinks i'm his real mommy because I'm such a good mommy!"
Due to our CRAZY schedule on this vacation, we have been in a different hotel almost every night. It's been fun, but crazy. The girls have loved trying out the beds in a million different hotels for the best jumping potential.   This one was obviously amazing!
The fam before Drew's Wedding.  The girls LOVED their sparkle princess dresses (Even Juneau liked getting dressed up!)
My sister, Becky, and my awesome nephew Kaleb.
Waiting for the ceremony to start.  Here you can BARELY see my new hair color adventure....it didn't turn out quite as dramatic as i thought it might, which is probably a good thing since both Betsy and Drew (my youngest siblings) laughed hysterically when they saw it.  On the very bottom ends of the right side of my hair (anatomic left if you are a nerd like me, and get the actual left and anatomic left side mixed up in pictures) you can see a little green...there are some strands of hot pink on the other side of my hair....
My nephew Micah (here with my brother Tommy) was just the cutest little ring-bearer in the world.
Aren't they just the cutest little couple you've ever seen???
 Micah entertaining the wedding guests....
 And the entertainment continues.....
 Sweet....
 Becky, Emmie, Sonya, and Betsy....sisters!!!!
 The girls with my mom!
 More sister pictures!
 My mom and dad :)
Aunt Betsy....al the kids adore her!
 Becky and my dad
 The Adorable Alfords....
 Completely color coordinated (as usual!)
 Yep, they're cute all right!
And the Saccenti Clan (Tommy, Sonya, Secily, Micah and Baby James)

In this photo, you can see Kyle getting totally busted by Sonya, who approached the scene to see 4 month old Baby James with a cupcake next to his mouth....Kyle looks a bit guilty indeed.
The proof.....a tiny bit of icing by Baby James' bottom lip!!!
Nova was thrilled that Micah agreed to dance with her.  Their dancing styles were a little different, however, and micah preferred to show off his Break Dancing skills, while Nova just wanted him to "spin me like a princess!"
totally wiped out after the wedding, 2 little girls snuggled up for a long night's sleep!
After the wedding we spent a few days in downtown Seattle.  Here you can seen Grandma enjoying some serious baby time with James....
View of Mt. Rainier from Pike Place Market (more Mt. Rainier photos to come!!!)
Three very tired cousins after a loooong day and a  loooong night exploring Seattle!
and 2 tired sisters (my mom and my Aunt Shelia) after a day of exploration
We wondered down to Olympic Park for a sunset view of the mountains
Kaleb and Hopie with the Space Needle in the background.
 Grandma and Hopie
The dads keeping the kids corralled
we made a day trip to  Squolnalmie falls on the way to Mt. Rainier.  It was BEAUTIFUL!!!
But nova was pretty worn out by the end of the day.  Nothing like a handsome prince to rest your head on when you are tired! :)
We are enjoying a couple of days at Mt. Rainier, in a beautiful little cabin by a stream.  it is perfect, relaxing, and beautiful, and we are loving spending some time with the cousins. in fact, i am currently getting my refresher on adorable tiny babies, while Baby James is sleeping in my arms while i type this (and baby Jude is wiggling in my tummy!) Life is good, our family is complete again, we have a new sister (congrats to Drew and Kristie!), and we are thankful for our blessings.
