The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

Day 129 / 67 To Go: Gearing up for a busy week

Posted by: Cris

A busy week lays ahead so we spent the day just relaxing, doing some grocery shopping and taking a much needed nap after staying up very late last night watching a movie and slumber partying on the couch. I was particularly tired because after the movie was over and both girls were asleep, I stayed up to watch a replay of the fights which saw my favorite fighter, Dan Henderson, fire his fabled right hand and drop his opponent making him the new Strikeforce Light Heavyweight Champion at the ripe young age of 40 years old! I did manage to restrain myself from waking up the girls with my excitement.

Hendo! Hendo! Hendo!
Ever since her sickness, Nova has been needing me to break the miralax back out resulting in her serious level of crankiness and frequent meltdowns. Today was no different...but she swore nothing was hurting her but she was definitely only interested in me carrying her around the store today. Finally, after a painful bout of working through her constipation issues, she was all smiles the rest of the day...poor little thing. Of late, Juneau has worked through her first adolescence and has become the sweetest little girl.
Waiting for dinner...

Summit could care less if dinner is on its way as long as she's got a comfy perch like this.
Our silly little June-Bug!
