The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Day 10: Juneau is 10 Months Old!!

July 21, 2008 - Today Juneau is exactly 10 months old. I've had to neglect the blog for a couple days as the internet here at the hotel has been extremely spotty. Who would have thought that a LAN in a 3rd world country would be anything but reliable?

Today was Juneau's medical check-up. She weighed in at a whopping 19.9 lbs. and about 73 cm. tall. She checked-out fine but did not like the doctor sticking the otoscope in her ears or shoving the depressor in her mouth. For some reason, she has a bit of a rash that is bothering her alot so I've been slathering her with cortizone cream and last night we resorted to giving her some baby benadryl so she could sleep since she was itching like crazy.
