The Stickley family adventures started in Hawaii in 2005 when Cris and Emilie were married. The real excitement began in May 2008, when Nova was born. 2 short months later, our little June-Bug joined the family from all the way in Vietnam. The next few crazy years included Emilie being deployed to Afghanistan, while Cris and the girls moved back to Hawaii, then a long year of living apart (and a lot of trips across the Pacific Ocean), while Emilie remained in Colorado to complete her Army committment, and Cris had to stay in Hawaii for his job at the University.

In the summer of 2012, little Jude joined our family, and the whole gang reunited for good in Hawaii!

Follow our adventures, as we try to keep track of life with our 3 crazy kids, while keeping our friends and family updated on the happenings here in Hawaii!

technical difficulties

i thought it was too good to be true that cris was able to email and blog so easily. however, upon arrival in hanoi cris has encountered some technical difficulties preventing him from accessing the internet. talk about frustrating! I guess the hotel has internet, but it won't work for his computer somehow. i got a short email yesterday that he sent from the business center, but it has weird hours so it is notvery reliable. i haven't been able to actually talk to him since he arrived in vietnam. Hopefully we can get it figured out!

When we went to Vietnam in March we had a ton of problems blogging, in Saigon, it was fine, Danang, it was very hit or miss, and Hoi An I was never able to get access to our blog. I could email and that was about all. It is very frustrating esp. when someone in the states (like you!) is waiting to hear from you. I hope it gets better - Juneau is absolutely beautiful! Linda Larson
