Remember that Bill Murray movie, "Groundhog Day", where he woke up every morning and relived the same day over and over and had to do the same job of reporting on punxsutawney phil seeing his shadow every single day?
Replace Bill Murray with me, replace punxsutawney phil with a 6 foot chainlink fence and that's how I spent my Groundhog day...fitting at this point because it has felt like I would never get things done in time for my pack to arrive...until today! As of today, the upper yard is officially ready for the dogs on Wednesday (if the weather in Ohio lightens up enough to allow my parents to leave the house). The line for the fence is cleared along the gully - removing the brush nearly kicked my butt today) - and ready for the posts to be cemented in. The end is in sight!!!
The girls found that the box my drone came in was every bit as good as its contents.
While the girls played, I was finishing the last bit of the upper yard fence - my stroke of genius removable fence panel that can be moved to still allow access of big items that won't fit through the narrow gate into the lower yard. It turned out sweet.

With a baby on the way soon, Nelson has started perfecting his swaddling technique by practicing on Nova. 
No little baby has ever loved being swaddled more than Nova...
...and she still loves it.
The girls decided to practice swaddling their baby dolls as well.
Without Emilie around to make me stop and drink and eat throughout the day, tonight I am wiped out. With Juneau and Nova all cuddled up to me on the couch and watching Wizard of Oz tonight, I actually fell asleep at 7:00. Nova kept waking me up to say "Daddy, make it go fast through the commercials" then I'd drift off until the next commercial. So, it's off to bed for me!
