For the second day in a row, the girls and grandma ended up at the beach with plans to go back tomorrow. Nova played the whole morning in the water and had a great time!
But first, helping grandma make cinnamon rolls: Making cinnamon rolls was Juneau's idea and she was super serious about it.
So, the girls and I headed down to get in the pool at 5:30. I let the dogs down in the yard and we all stayed down there and played until after 7:00.

Husky shedding season is upon us...Denali is keeping me busy raking hair out of his undercoat.
Juneau having fun...Nova sitting poolside.

The girls have been having their nightly story time with Grandma so I get my hugs and kisses before they head down the stairs...and eskimo kisses - Nova's favorite.

The number on that countdown keeps dropping but not fast enough...At least it looks like Emilie will be leaving Afghanistan soon and starting on the long commute back to the U.S. At least once she is in the country, we'll be able to talk to her whenever we want, even if it will still be 24 more days until we get to hug her!
